These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through www.gloriacycling.com (“the Website”).

Gloria Cycling is a trading name of The Local Cyclist Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

1. About Us

2. Products & Services

We sell:

  • Custom and made-to-order titanium frames and bicycles

  • Complete bicycle builds

  • Accessories, components, and workshop services

Some products are made to order or custom built to your specification. These are subject to specific conditions set out in Section 7 and in our Made-to-Order Policy.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but this will not affect orders already confirmed.

  • Full payment or a deposit may be required before production begins.

  • Promotional offers cannot be applied retrospectively.

4. Deposits

Deposits may be required to reserve a frame, secure a production slot, or confirm a custom build.

Deposit terms:

  • Deposits are fully refundable until the build process starts

  • Once the build is confirmed and production has begun, the deposit becomes non-refundable

  • The point at which a build starts is defined as when materials are allocated and fabrication or assembly begins

Full details are outlined in our Made-to-Order Policy.

5. Lead Times

  • All quoted lead times are estimates, not guarantees.

  • Delays may occur due to supplier availability, manufacturing schedules, shipping, or quality control.

  • We will always aim to keep you informed of significant changes.

Delays alone do not entitle customers to refunds once production has begun.

6. Returns & Refunds (Standard Products)

For non-custom, non-made-to-order items (e.g. accessories):

  • You may return unused items within 14 days of delivery

  • Items must be unused, in original condition and packaging

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty

Custom and made-to-order products are excluded (see Section 7).

7. Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Custom or made-to-order products include (but are not limited to):

  • Frames built to size or specification

  • Complete bikes built to customer-selected components

  • Any product built or assembled specifically for an individual customer

These products cannot be returned or refunded once production has started, except in cases of manufacturing fault.

See our Made-to-Order Policy for full details.

8. Warranty

Frame Warranty

Gloria Cycling offers a lifetime warranty on titanium frames to the original owner, covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Crash damage or impact damage

  • Improper use, abuse, or neglect

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Corrosion caused by environmental exposure

  • Modifications or repairs carried out by third parties

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect structural integrity

Proof of purchase is required. Warranty claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Shipping costs related to warranty claims may apply.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Gloria Cycling shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence

Cycling is an inherently risky activity. Customers are responsible for ensuring their bike is used and maintained correctly.

10. Accuracy of Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications, and images are accurate. Minor variations may occur due to manufacturing processes or component availability.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

MADE-TO-ORDER & CUSTOM BUILD POLICY

Gloria Cycling

This policy applies to all custom frames, made-to-order bikes, and bespoke builds.

1. What Counts as Made-to-Order

A product is considered made-to-order if it is:

  • Built to a specific size or geometry

  • Built using customer-selected components

  • Reserved specifically for a customer via a deposit

  • Assembled or fabricated specifically for an individual order

2. Deposits

  • Deposits are required to secure production slots or confirm specifications

  • Deposits are fully refundable until the build process begins

  • Once the build is confirmed and production starts, deposits become non-refundable

Production is considered started when:

  • Materials are allocated to your order, and

  • Frame fabrication or bike assembly begins

3. Changes to Your Order

  • Changes can be requested before production begins

  • Once production has started, changes may not be possible or may incur additional costs

  • Any changes must be confirmed in writing

4. Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before production begins

  • Once production has started, cancellations are not permitted, and no refund will be issued

This is because the product is being made specifically for you and cannot be resold.

5. Lead Times

  • Lead times are estimates and not guaranteed

  • Delays may occur due to supplier availability, manufacturing constraints, or logistics

  • Delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation once production has begun

6. Faults & Issues

If a made-to-order product has a manufacturing defect, we will:

  • Repair or replace the item where appropriate

  • Assess the issue under our warranty policy

This does not apply to damage caused by crashes, misuse, or normal wear.

7. Acceptance

By paying a deposit or confirming a custom build, you confirm that you:

  • Understand the made-to-order nature of the product

  • Accept the refund and cancellation terms outlined above
