Winter miles.
Properly sorted.
Cold roads. Wet lanes. Still a good idea. Winter miles deserve a bike you actually want to ride. Add another layer. Pick a route. Leave the weather to get on with it.
Meet the Gloria All Road with Shimano 105 Di2: a titanium winter road bike with an endurance-minded fit, DT Swiss wheels and SKS mudguards included. For the commute, the Sunday loop and the ride that sounded much shorter when you suggested it.
Proper winter miles. A generous coffee stop. Possibly the long way home. Here is how the All Road makes a case for all three.

The Gloria All Road. A titanium starting point for year-round riding.

A Grade 9 titanium winter road bike
For the rides you keep making time for.
A good winter bike should still be a bike you look forward to riding. The All Road starts with a butted 3Al-2.5V Grade 9 titanium frame. It is a bike for putting miles in, whatever the calendar says.
Its appeal is in the mix: a frame made for long road rides, room to adjust your tyre setup, and mounts that let practical things belong on the bike. Mudguards for the weekday commute. A little extra carrying capacity when the route gets ambitious.
Gloria lists a lifetime frame warranty for the original owner against manufacturing defects. Read the warranty terms for the details. Winter riding still means looking after your chain, brakes and bearings, of course. The bike gets a rinse. You get the first cup of tea.

Shimano 105 Di2 2x12 gearing for winter road rides
A little less thinking about the next gear.
There are already enough things competing for your attention on a winter ride. Electronic shifting is one detail you can keep pleasantly straightforward.
This build uses Shimano 105 Di2 2x12, with a 50/34T compact chainset and an 11-34T cassette. That gives you two chainrings and twelve sprockets to work with, whether the route is rolling along nicely or heading up the hill you had forgotten about.
The product page lists 165 mm cranks, but does not provide a crank-length schedule by frame size. Confirm the length for your chosen size and fit before ordering, particularly if you ride a 58 or 60. A published component figure is not a sizing recommendation. The published setup also includes 160 mm brake rotors front and rear and a BSA bottom bracket.
Curious about the electronics? Shimano explains the system in its Di2 and E-TUBE guide. Remember to include charging in your usual pre-ride routine. An electronic groupset enjoys a bit of organisation, too.

The published build pairs Shimano 105 Di2 with DT Swiss G1800 wheels and Vittoria Rubino 32c tyres.

SKS mudguards included with the All Road
Less road spray. More reasons to go.
Mudguards are one of those things you appreciate most about twenty minutes into a wet ride. Less spray coming off the wheels makes a rather good argument for fitting them.
The Shimano 105 Di2 All Road listing includes a set of SKS mudguards. You do not need to buy another set just to complete this winter build. The separate links below are useful if you are equipping an existing bike or looking for a replacement.
For the All Road, Gloria recommends the 45 mm SKS Bluemels. Their aluminium-and-plastic sandwich construction, adjustable V-stays and ASR front stay-release system are practical details for a proper full-length setup.
Already riding an All Gravel? That has its own 55 mm Bluemels option. The mudguard width is the width of the guard, not a promise that a tyre of the same width will fit.

All Road: 45 mm SKS Bluemels
For the Gloria All Road. The listed tyre limit is 37c and narrower; the standard 32c build sits within that range.

All Gravel: 55 mm SKS Bluemels
For an All Gravel setup. Gloria recommends up to 47c for a more conservative fit; confirm clearance with your actual wheels and tyres.

DT Swiss G1800 wheels, 32c tyres and real clearance
Built around the roads outside your door.
The standard wheelset is DT Swiss G1800, paired with Vittoria Rubino 32c tyres. It is the starting setup described in the product specification; choosing a wheel upgrade changes that part of the build.
The bike comes with 32c tyres. That is the supplied tyre size, rather than the maximum clearance. Here is how the options separate out:
| Setup | Tyre size |
|---|---|
| Supplied 105 Di2 2x build | Vittoria Rubino 32c, with SKS mudguards included. |
| 105 Di2 2x, without mudguards | Up to 700 x 38c, depending on tyre and rim combination. |
| 105 Di2 2x, with 45 mm Bluemels | Up to 37c according to the mudguard listing. Confirm the complete tyre, rim and guard fit. |
| Alternative 1x build, without mudguards | Up to 700 x 45c. This requires a different drivetrain setup from the 105 Di2 2x build featured here. |
| Alternative 1x build, with mudguards | Depends on the selected guards and actual clearances. The 45c frame figure does not establish a 45c limit with guards fitted. |
A 45 mm mudguard is not the same measurement as a 45c tyre. The 55 mm All Gravel guards above are a separate model option, rather than a promise of extra clearance on the All Road.
That is the useful kind of versatility: enough choice to make the bike work for your routes, with the details checked before you head out.

Endurance geometry and a practical carbon fork
Comfort is a very good reason to keep riding.
A winter loop can become a long day surprisingly quickly. The All Road's endurance-focused geometry is part of its appeal when the ride stretches beyond the original plan.
The Gloria carbon fork has cage mounts and external routing. The published cockpit uses a separate Zipp Service Course handlebar, stem and seatpost, with cables running below the stem for access when it is time for servicing. Clean enough to enjoy looking at. Practical enough to live with.
Frame sizes run from 50 to 60. Start with the Gloria sizing and bike-fit guide, or use the size finder on the All Road product page. Your saddle height, reach and preferred position are more useful than guessing from a size label.
For an outside perspective on the platform, read road.cc's review of the Gloria All-Road Titanium frameset. road.cc reviewed the frameset. That review does not test or rate this specific Shimano 105 Di2 winter build or its included components.

Choose the frame size and cockpit around your fit, then make the rest of the build yours.

Winter road bike questions, answered
Are mudguards included with the Gloria All Road Shimano 105 Di2?
Yes. The product listing includes a set of SKS mudguards. The separate mudguard buttons are for replacements or existing bikes, rather than an extra purchase required for this build.
What is the difference between 45 mm and 55 mm SKS Bluemels?
Gloria recommends the 45 mm version for the All Road and lists tyres up to 37c. The 55 mm version is the All Gravel option, with up to 47c recommended for a more conservative fit. Check the tyre, rim and frame clearance together.
Can I fit 45c tyres to this Shimano 105 Di2 build?
The published limit for this electronic 2x build is 700 x 38c, depending on tyre and rim combination. The frame’s 700 x 45c figure applies to a 1x setup. With the 45 mm All Road mudguards, the guard listing specifies 37c and narrower.
Is Shimano 105 Di2 electronic or mechanical?
This build uses Shimano 105 Di2 electronic shifting with two chainrings and a 12-speed cassette. It is not the mechanical Shimano 105 version.
How much does the Winter All Road cost?
The standard DT Swiss G1800 build is listed at £2,999 as checked on 28 October 2026. The published wheel upgrades add £500 for Gloria carbon wheels or £800 for DT Swiss GRC1600. Check the product page for current prices and availability.
How much does this All Road build weigh?
Ask Gloria for a confirmed weight for your selected frame size, wheels and finishing kit. The linked complete-bike specification does not publish a complete-bike weight, so a figure for a different build would not be a reliable comparison.
All Road or All Gravel for winter riding?
Choose around your routes. The All Road is aimed at road rides, rough lanes, commuting and light gravel. If your riding is more focused on rougher off-road routes and bigger tyres, explore the All Gravel and discuss the setup with Gloria.
Can I customise the bike or use Cycle to Work?
Yes. Use the custom builder or speak to Gloria about fit and component choices. Gloria accepts Cycle to Work schemes; check its scheme page and confirm eligibility and your build with the team.
