Wireless Performance and Confident Control
Apex AXS integrates SRAM’s renowned hydraulic disc braking with the precision of wireless eTap shifting. The redesigned brake/shift lever provides excellent modulation and control, while adjustable reach and an improved ergonomic profile ensure comfort on long rides and demanding terrain. The result is a high-performance braking and shifting system that operates seamlessly as a single unit.
1x Simplicity with Wide-Range 12-Speed Gearing
Apex’s single-chainring configuration reduces complexity while delivering all the gearing range needed for steep climbs, fast descents, and mixed-surface riding. The dedicated chainring design and Flattop chain technology ensure secure chain retention, reduced noise, and enhanced durability, even on rough terrain.
The Apex XPLR rear derailleur features a specialised spring clutch for consistent chain management, further enhancing drivetrain stability in both on-road and off-road conditions.
Mullet Option for Maximum Range
For riders who want even more versatility, this groupset is also available in a Mullet configuration, combining road levers with an MTB-style wide-range Eagle drivetrain. This setup includes:
-
SRAM GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur
- SRAM Eagle 11–50T cassette
This option expands your gear range significantly, making it ideal for steep, technical, or heavily loaded bikepacking adventures.
